Sameh Zoabi
Sameh Zoabi (b. 1975) was born and raised in a Palestinian village near the city of Nazareth. He graduated from Tel Aviv University with a degree in Film Studies and English Literature and continued to study film at Colombia University in the States. His feature film debut was Man Without a Cell Phone (2010), which was followed by Under the Same Sun in 2013. He was a screenwriter on The Idol, directed by Hany Aby Assad. Tel Aviv on Fire is his third feature film and premiered at Venice film festival.
